At GFI, we are aware that depending on the features of each project's topography, different matting solutions can be required. Our experience has shown that Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) access mats are a superior option, even though we rent and sell both new and used standard Douglas fir bolted access mats. In direct comparisons, CLT access mats perform better than typical bolted access mats due to their increased durability and reduced weight.
